A glitch text generator stacks combining marks onto ordinary characters until the text overflows its line. It is not a glitch and not a font — it is Unicode working exactly as specified, since combining marks attach to the character before them and nothing in the standard limits how many.
How the stacking works
Unicode separates characters from marks. A base character occupies a position; a combining mark does not, it attaches to whatever preceded it. That is how accented letters work, and the system permits more than one because some scripts genuinely need several.
What it does not do is set a ceiling. Attach fifty and every renderer dutifully tries to draw all fifty.
Marks come in three families — above, below and through — and controlling them separately is what produces a specific look rather than an indiscriminate mess. Heavy above with a clean baseline reads very differently from evenly stacked.
Where it renders
Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp render it fully at every level, with tall stacks overlapping the line above — which is the intended effect. TikTok and Instagram accept it but clip very tall stacks. X strips some marks at high levels. Usernames reject it almost everywhere, because platforms limit combining marks specifically to prevent this.
Two real costs
Screen readers announce every combining mark by name, so a single heavily stacked word can produce a minute of speech. And tall stacks overlap surrounding lines, making a thread harder to read for everyone rather than just the person you replied to.
Light and medium levels avoid both and still look the part. Save the extreme settings for your own posts.

Can I remove the marks from cursed text?
There is no clean built-in way. The base characters are still there underneath with the marks attached to them, so pasting into a plain-text editor and deleting the marks manually is usually faster than finding a tool. That is also why cursed text is still searchable — the underlying letters have not changed.
