Discord Fonts — Name Styler

Type your name and copy it in gothic, script, double-struck, or decorated Unicode styles, then paste it as your Discord display name or server nickname. Display names accept nearly all Unicode; only your unique @username is restricted to lowercase letters, numbers, periods, and underscores — so the styling goes on the display name.

Inside messages, remember Discord’s own markdown too: **bold**, *italic*, __underline__, ~~strikethrough~~, and `code`. Unicode fonts from this page work in messages as well and even survive places markdown does not, like channel names and “About Me”. Add a face from the Kaomoji Keyboard or an invisible character for a blank-looking name.

FAQ

Can I use fancy fonts in my Discord username?

The unique @username only allows lowercase letters, numbers, periods, and underscores — but your display name and server nicknames accept these Unicode styles.

Do these fonts work in Discord messages?

Yes — paste them into any message, channel topic, or your About Me. They render for everyone on desktop and mobile.

Why does my styled name look different for a friend?

Very rare characters can vary slightly by device font. The styles listed here use widely supported characters.
