Unicode has no complete tiny alphabet. Where a letter has no small form it stays full size — subscript is missing most consonants, which is a limit of the standard rather than of this tool.

About the Small Text Generator

Tiny text is not a smaller font size. Unicode contains superscript and subscript characters designed for footnotes and chemistry, and this tool borrows them as an alphabet. That is why the result stays small after you paste it somewhere that controls its own type size — the characters themselves are small, not the styling.

How to Use the Small Text Generator

Type once and all three styles update together: superscript, subscript and small caps. Compare them and copy whichever suits. Superscript is the classic tiny text seen in bios; small caps is larger but far more readable in a full sentence.

The Missing-Letter Problem

Unicode was never asked to provide a complete tiny alphabet, so some letters simply do not exist. Subscript is missing most consonants, and superscript lacks a proper q. Where a character has no small form, it stays full size, which produces a distinctive mixed-height look. This is a limitation of the standard rather than of the tool, and no generator anywhere can avoid it.

Where Small Text Works

Instagram and TikTok bios, X, Discord, and most display names. It is popular as a second line under a main bio line, where the size difference creates hierarchy without any formatting. Avoid it for anything that must be read quickly or by someone with low vision — small text is decorative first. For a legible alternative with the same understated feel, try small caps here, or the fancy text generator for full-size styles.

FAQ

What is small text?

Unicode superscript and subscript characters used as an alphabet. They stay small wherever you paste them because the characters themselves are small.

Why are some letters still full size?

Unicode has no small version of every letter. Subscript in particular is missing most consonants, so those stay at normal size.

Where does small text work?

Instagram and TikTok bios, X, Discord and most display names.

Is small text bad for accessibility?

It is harder to read and screen readers may pronounce it oddly, so keep it decorative rather than using it for important information.
