How to Send a Blank Message on WhatsApp (2026 Method)
WhatsApp disables the send button when the message box is empty, so you cannot send a truly blank message the normal way. The workaround is simple: send an invisible character — a real Unicode character that displays as nothing.
Step by step
- Open our Invisible Character tool and tap Copy next to the Hangul Filler character.
- Open WhatsApp and paste into the message box — the box looks empty, but the send button activates.
- Tap send. The message appears as a blank bubble.
Why it works
The Hangul Filler (U+3164) and Braille Blank (U+2800) are legitimate Unicode characters with no visible glyph. WhatsApp counts them as text, so the message sends, but nothing renders inside the bubble.

Troubleshooting
