How to Send a Blank Message on WhatsApp (2026 Method)
WhatsApp disables the send button when the message box is empty, so you cannot send a truly blank message the normal way. The workaround is simple: send an invisible character — a real Unicode character that displays as nothing.
Step by step

Why it works
The Hangul Filler (U+3164) and Braille Blank (U+2800) are legitimate Unicode characters with no visible glyph. WhatsApp counts them as text, so the message sends, but nothing renders inside the bubble.

Troubleshooting
If WhatsApp refuses to send, your paste probably picked up a real space instead of the invisible character — recopy from the tool page. Some clipboard managers also trim “whitespace”; pasting immediately after copying avoids this.

Which character to use
They are not interchangeable, and this is where most guides go wrong.
**Hangul Filler (U+3164)** works reliably on WhatsApp. It belongs to the Korean character block and exists to hold space in Hangul layout, so it is treated as a real character rather than whitespace.
**Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800)** is the best backup — a legitimate braille cell with no dots raised.
**Zero Width Space (U+200B)** is the one most guides recommend and the one WhatsApp is most likely to strip, because it is classified as whitespace. Try it last.
Why WhatsApp blocks empty messages at all
Not arbitrarily. Trimming whitespace stops accidental sends when a keyboard misfires, and stops automated posting that bumps a thread with nothing in it.
Hangul Filler and Braille Blank get through because they are not whitespace in the technical sense — they are real characters with real purposes, and WhatsApp cannot filter them without breaking Korean text and braille support. That is why this keeps working while other methods get patched.
Check the copy worked
The commonest failure is not the character but the copy. If a page shows it inside brackets so you can see where it is, you may capture the brackets instead.
